The handle works very well to stop strong pulling. This is the only leash I use now to walk my Great Pyrenees. I like that we can adjust where the handle is along the leash. The only thing is when you convert the leash to hands free, you use the handle to clip it (see my photo) so the handle becomes unusable in this state, so it basically becomes like any other hands free leash. I would love and purchase an updated version of this leash where there is a usable quick grab handle while you are in hands free mode.
I have 2 pitties, 60 lbs and 50lbs., and they can be reactive when we see other dogs on walks. I have tried the no-pull harness, the over the nose leash and various other configurations, this leash is the only one that gives me the control I need over my pets, even when walking them at the same time! I recommend these leashes to everyone I see struggling, a game changer for me!
Game changer for training. I have a 60 lb puppy in her adolescence phase and this gave me the control I needed to keep her from pulling. I’m not a strong person lol
While my dog Mango loves his k9 friends, he does not enjoy meeting them on leash. We live in a very dog dense area,. And while I try to be strategic about our walk times, the fact is we will always run into other dogs.
I’ve tried probably a half a dozen leashes, and honestly was hesitant about the quick control one being 6ft (I usually prefer 5ft for day to day walks). But before I e even made it out of our apartment building of our first walk with This leash is so much easier than wrapping my hand wound the leash/knot like I’ve done in the past, and I adjust it regularly throughout our walks based on our needs. It’s quite easy to get the hang of.
I do wish the next version would come with a traffic handle just for those occasional emergencies of a dog around the corner we don’t see in time.
Overall, I’m very pleased and have been telling everyone I know about it!

I bought this on their kickstarter and it’s awesome!! Helps me walk my 10 year old (not well trained) dog around the neighborhood with a lot of other dogs and cars/traffic. Love the handle grab and also the hands-free walking! Such a clever invention!
I love the leash, I wish the handle was a darker color the white got dirty quickly. Also it would be cool if the poop bag role went into the handle! But over all it works great at keeping pup close and doesn’t hurt if he does pull.

One tip may help: for everyday walks, we generally recommend positioning the Quick Control Handle about 2–3 feet from the main handle before attaching the leash. This keeps it from dragging while still making it easy to grab quickly when you need closer control.
Because everyone is different in height to their dog we recommend experimenting with placing the handle in different positions until you find one that works well for you. Whether you decide to keep it or not, we really appreciate you for trying out the leash!

I have a large breed/reactive dog and this is the best leash I have found to have confident control of him. It’s so nice to not have the leash wrapped around my hands and having the ability to easily move the traffic handle depending on the situation is perfect. 10/10!!
I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend that has a German Rottweiler. He's a good dog, but can be a handful. My friend said this thing is great and really lets him keep his dog in check. Would buy again.
Wonderful product. The handle is excellent for controlling the dog. The leash is long enough to go around the waist to free up my hands. It's everything I wanted!

It works pretty well, but the diameter of the handle is too big. It should be roughly the size of a shovel handle which is a pretty normal hand size grip.
